誰が袖とは美しい様々な模様の小袖が衣桁に掛けられた様子を文様化したもものです。
大胆に描かれた誰が袖と華やかに描かれた菊の花は上品で日本の伝統を感じさせる一枚です。
包みボタンは無地だけにせず、柄と重なる部分は柄に合わせることで、一体感を演出しています。

＜Gilet remade from a gorgeous colored tomesode kimono.

This gilet is a remake of a gorgeous shiro-tomesode (colored sleeves) with a pattern of tagasore and chrysanthemum flowers. Tagasore" is a pattern of beautifully painted kosode hanging on a garment girder. The boldly drawn who-sode and gorgeously drawn chrysanthemum flowers are elegant and remind us of Japanese tradition. The wrapping buttons are not only plain, but also match the pattern where they overlap, creating a sense of unity. It enhances the individuality of the wearer in both formal and casual situations. It is also attractive because it can be worn in any season.
